2008 Fall Makeup Trends
It is predicted that almost all of the common 2008 spring makeup trends will remain popular during fall of 2008. Makeup trends may be very important for you to know about, especially if you like to keep up with the current fashion styles. Here are some of the different makeup trends that you can expect to see during fall 2008.
Fall Makeup Tips
Earthy Eyeshadow Tones
During fall of 2008, you will probably notice that everyone will be wearing earthy tones when it comes to their eyeshadow, as well as clothing. What this means is that some eyeshadow colors that you will want to wear during this time include natural shades of green, brown and gray. Anything that can be found in the environment is what will be found on your face, for the most part. However, you will probably want to avoid shades of blue, which may be too bright for the season. It is also probably a good idea to avoid matching your scenery during fall 2008. Reds, oranges and yellows should be avoided.
Light Shades of Lipstick
During fall and winter of 2007, very bold and bright colors of lipstick were quite popular. These shades included very dark browns, reds and pinks. The good news for those who did not care for this trend is that these colors will not be very common during fall of 2008. Instead, lighter and more natural shades of brown, pink and peach will be worn. Clear and lip shades of lipstick will actually be even more popular than will be. The whole idea with lips is to keep them very natural.
Very Fine Lines of Eyeliner
Very thin, fine lines of eyeliner will be worn during fall 2008. The important thing to keep in mind during this time of year is that you do not want to overdo it with the eyeliner. Using a lighter shade of eyeliner, such as a brown or gray, can really help you enhance your eyes, without going for an overly drastic appearance. You won’t see too much black, blue or any other shade of eyeliner during this time.
Don't Forget About Your Cheeks
Women often forget to use blush during any time of the year. Blush is not something that you will want to forget about during fall 2008. As you are making the transition from summer tan to winter skin tones, you will want to have some color in between. Although you won’t want to forget about drawing attention to your cheeks by using blush, you will want to stick to using light, natural tones. The general rule of thumb is to add color, not an entire cake of makeup.
Makeup trends often stay the same, but many are constantly changing. Although you will probably still see them during fall of 2008, it is likely that you will see a whole lot less of the shimmering, glittery makeup styles that have been popular to date. Overall, it is safe to say that the overall look for fall 2008 will be a very natural one.
